House on Highview Ransacked Tuesday, Jewelry, TV Stolen

A woman who lives on the 300 block of North Highview came home at about noon March 27 to find her home ransacked. She had been gone since 7:55 a.m., and her front door was still locked when she returned. Police noticed the rear door had been damaged and all the bedrooms had been gone through. Missing was an LG television and miscellaneous jewelry.Ray Hoover, 49, 1814 W. 108th St., Chicago, was arrested charged with burglary after he allegedly admitted to taking some changed from an unlocked vehicle parked at US Bank, 540 S.
