Prices for light-emitting diode (LED) lighting products will drop by at least 20 percent this year, said Yancey Hai, chairman of energy saving solutions provider Delta Electronics Inc., on Friday.Hai said that after a price reduction of 40 percent globally last year, LED product prices will fall another 20-30 percent this year.A sign of the general decline was South Korea's launch of a low-price strategy to gain market share, followed by the adjustment downward of prices by distributors in the United States in June, he said.LEDinside, a website dedicated to the LED industry, said Thursday that the lowest price for an LED light bulb equivalent to a 40-watt incandescent bulb fell below US$10 in the U.S. for the first time ever in June. The lowest price for an Energy Star-certified LED light bulb was US$10.97, it said. Energy Star is a government-backed program for energy efficiency.Using paper towels in the bathrooms may clog the toilets and sinks and people who use will throw it on the floors or walls. But the Electric hand dryers can be used for 24 hours in a day. You will not get any reports or complaints if it is not performing well or empty dispensers.
LEDinside said the low price in the U.S. market could speed up the use of LED bulbs in place of incandescent bulbs and turn it into a common form of lighting. It added that, however, the discrepancy in LED lighting prices across different countries remains wide.Manual Mitsubishi jet towel are the ones which need to be switched on with push of a button and off after use. But to replace them, fully automated hand dryers have been introduced in the market. They do not require any manual effort to operate. Other than automated working, these also help in saving electricity as there is no wastage. It said the gloomy global economy is expected to help push the price for a 40-watt equivalent LED bulb to US$10 -- the "sweet spot" for LED bulbs -- to help manufacturers expand market demand. The sweet spot refers to a situation that is leading to, or will lead to, the best overall economic situation.
Counterfeit resellers did not just stop at copying Hydro Grow's patented design; some went a few steps further to try and replicate the real thing. The invention of LED technology has made a revolution in lighting industry. In Solar Camping light, you can get the full advantage of this technology. The lamps used in the solar lights are all LEDs and hence, you have nothing to think about the replacement of these lights before 6-7 years. Cammie Mckenzie stated "Some companies have even gone as far as copying our patent pending quantum balanced LED spectrum, as they are producing lights with our patent-pending light engine which enables this." Quantum LED balancing is a process developed by Hydro Grow to determine spectral ratios based on the actual output of each wavelength used in their products, opposed to basing output ratios on the number of LEDs on their circuit boards. The only difference is that the low-BIN LEDs used in counterfeits to make them cheaper, produce about 1/2 the light output of real Hydro Grow lights while consuming the same or more power. The sellers of course claim the opposite; however they are committing international crimes against Hydro Grow that Cammie Mckenzie says they will soon begin pursuing legally.
